These terms govern your use of www.kentfiresecuritysystems.co.uk and the services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. References to "we", "us" or "our" refer to Kent Fire & Security Systems.
We provide design, supply, installation and maintenance of fire and security systems including burglar alarms, CCTV, fire alarms, AOV systems, emergency lighting and fire doors for residential and commercial properties across Kent and Sheerness.
All quotations are valid for 30 days from issue. Prices are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Changes to scope of work after survey may result in a revised quotation.
We offer free, no-obligation surveys across Kent and Sheerness. A survey does not commit you to any purchase or contract.
All work is carried out by our own qualified engineers. You are responsible for ensuring access at the agreed time. We take reasonable care of your property and make good minor disturbance caused during installation.
Residential installations: payment on completion. Commercial installations: within 14 days of invoice. Maintenance contracts: invoiced annually or as agreed. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices.
All equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty. Our installation workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion. Warranties do not cover accidental damage, misuse or unauthorised modification.
We recommend all systems are serviced regularly in accordance with relevant British Standards. Failure to maintain systems may invalidate warranties and affect insurance compliance.
We carry full public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of works carried out. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Surveys can be cancelled without charge with 24 hours notice. Consumer customers have a 14-day cooling-off right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
